
Swimmers born in 2007/2008 and female swimmers born in 2008/2009 can take part in this age group. It is desirable that swimmers in this age group can compete in different distances and techniques:
Crawl, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly: 50m, 100m and 200m
Medley: 100m, 200m and 400m
Crawl: 400m, 800m and 1500m
Its main goals are:

Optimisation of the technical quality of the different swimming styles, increase of the swimming efficiency, using kinematic indicators, as well as video recording, image analysis and video visualisation.
Development of intense and severe aerobic work, speed and technical work.
Development of stability and flexibility of the different anatomical regions, as well as the development of breathing techniques, using the swimmer's physiological, technical, anthropometric and athletic profile
Contribute to the swimmer's integral training as a citizen and sportsman, through the principles and fundamental values of competitive sport
Create strategies to maintain a positive, healthy and motivating training environment.
Provide conditions to maintain the team's motivation, spirit of mutual help and respect for everyone's effort.
Encourage resilience and persistence for the swimmer's self improvement.
