
The senior category is for swimmers born before 2004 and swimmers born before 2005. In this category the aim is sports performance, work on the process of specialisation of the swimmers.
The main objectives are:
Train to compete, train to win.
To improve technical quality in accordance with the swimmer's speciality and characteristics, increasing swimming efficiency, using kinematic indicators, as well as individual filming, image analysis and video viewing.
To enhance main individual abilities according to swimmer's speciality and characteristics.
Development and maintenance of stability and flexibility of the different anatomical regions, as well as the development of breathing techniques, using the swimmer's physiological, technical, anthropometric and athletic profile.
Contribute to the swimmer's integral training as a citizen and sportsman, through the principles and fundamental values of competitive sport.
Create strategies to maintain a positive, healthy and motivating training environment.
Provide conditions to maintain the team's motivation, spirit of mutual help and respect for everyone's effort.
Encourage resilience and persistence for the swimmer's self improvement.
Promote teamwork to achieve common goals.
Evaluate, prescribe and monitor according to scientific evidence.
